One tip is that if you have nexus by refx, I'd recommend getting the Guitars expansion and/or the Hollywood 3 Guitars expansion if you want to make this kind of music. Another tip is to listen to similar rock/metal/grunge songs and see what they do so you can do something similar, but different because I don't want you to straight-up copy off of them.

EDIT: I have nexus, but I don't have the expansions I mentioned just in case you are wondering.
